THE IMMORTAL IMPALERS

THE CHARMING CROWS

Coin Toss: Impalers win, will receive.

Kickoff: Green Arrow kicks long to Predator who slips into stealth mode and runs a field-long touchdown. 

1st Half: Sinestro and the boys come out and begin to outrun the Impaler defense. It seems as if the Impalers are almost giving the Crows the field. Finally Sinestro goes for a QB sneak into the End Zone on a 2nd and Goal when shit gets crazy. On the Impaler sidelines, Dean Winchester is seen talking to a tall cloaked figure. They shake hands, and shortly after Dean falls dead. Few notice and the play goes on. As Sinestro enters the end zone, a large portal opens up above him and the temperature in the arena rises. From the portal comes out Falkor, but not the Falkor you remember. Having been through hell and back, this isn't your grandmother's luck dragon. Falkor the Don't-Give-A-Fuck Dragon immediately smells a small essence of the man who killed him - Voldemort, and hones in on the ring that Sinestro is wearing. In one move, Falkor bites off Sinestro's ring hand and turns his head and spits it back into the hell portal before it can close - destroying it. Sinestro feels fear for the first time in a long time, then promptly faints. As a result, The Goddamn Batman comes out to QB for the rest of the game.

2nd Half: Batman and the gang begin to reak havok on the Impalers, to redeem their loss last week and the maiming of their quarterback. The Impalers bring it back strong, with Sam honoring his brothers sacrifice and Falkor displaying his new attitude on the field. Both teams are penalized so much that the game is called early in the fourth quarter when neither team can field a full offensive line due to individuals being injured or banned.

Coin Toss: Pandas win, will receive

Kickoff: Aragorn kicks to Fred Flintstone, who makes a large gain before being taken down by Mr. Fantastic. 

Entire Game Synopsis: This game, holy shit this game. We see two very unique play styles. The "Fastest Team Alive" MIA against a strong passing team: the Pandas. What ends up saving the day for the MIA is that they have slower carrying time, typically scoring touchdowns with just one play with their speed that the Kingsguard just can't outmatch, and their superior tactical knowledge thanks to Dash. Meanwhile the Pandas play a strong passing game that sees successive first downs leading to touchdowns that Grodd on the MIA offense can't keep up with. Here is a typical MIA running play:

With lines like this, you'd think Marty was on their team and not an opponent.

Sentinels vs. Aberrations

THE CYBERTRON SENTINELS

THE ASGARDIAN ABERRATIONS

Coin Toss: Han always goes first. The Sentinels will receive.

Kickoff: Squirrel Girl kicks and the ball is picked up by Ana Steele, who carries long avoiding a seemingly careful Lobo to manage a return touchdown. 

1st Quarter: The Aberration offense makes up fast when Demo launches long to Wolverine who outruns the Joes and is propelled forward by Magneto. The conversion is successful. Retaking the offense, the Cybertrons are not willing to lose their momentum and He-Man summons Battle Cat for an easy touchdown followed by an easy extra point kick. Demoman and the boys come back out and begin a series of quick runs with Goro followed by a first down 30 yard rush when Drizzt jumps over the Joe defensive line. During this play Bender attempts to steal Conan's sword but Conan manages to prevent him from doing so. The Aberrations finish the quarter by finishing their drive and succeeding on the conversion. 

2nd Quarter: Engineer from the bench sends in a built spare lineman for the Sentinels. This walking sentry begins to really piss off Lobo, who manages to destroy it on the third play. However while predisposed doing so the Sentinels manage a touchdown thanks to Red Sonja. Han manages the conversion when Lando fakes carrying to distract. Trailing a bit, the Aberrations come back strong. Uncle Sam convinces Han to come over to his side, while Parallax scares Boba Fett right off the field. With two starters gone, the Cybertrons bring in Halaster and Megatron to fill the void. During this drive the Aberrations score. 

2nd Half: Halastar takes the half time to lay traps all around the field, but Lobo seems to be immune when he continuously sets them off. Megatron fumbles and Lobo picks up and carries it home. This turnover begins a drive by the Aberrations who pull away from the Cybertrons who only manage to score one more time.

S3 W4 Minidraft

During Season 3, every four weeks the team will draft one player. Those teams that have lost a player due to death will be able to draft an additional player for each dead player. Those teams will draft first, and then the regular minidraft will occur. here are the results of this week's draft:

Season 3 Week 4 Interim: The Coalition Gets a Tipoff

As shown last week, many members of the league are banding together in an attempt to rid themselves of Lord Voldemort of the reigning champions The Guilder Bay Shrieking Eels.

Well, this week a mysterious figure approached those members with this cryptic message.

Militants vs. Automatons

THE MILITANTS OF OOO

vs.

THE MITHRIL AUTOMATONS

Coin Toss: Automatons win, will receive

Kickoff: Hagrid kicks lightly to Kirby, who makes no gain before being taken down by Jake the Dog. 

1st Quarter: Starting strong, Gandalf refuses to allow the Automatons to pass. Having to rely on their running game, the Automatons quickly learn that they can't outrun the Foot Clan. V becomes their only hope but can't get the ball when completely surrounded by Foot every play. The Militants regain the ball Crash avoids the Roughnecks entirely for an immediate touchdown. Hawkeye nails a pass to Jake for the conversion. Time runs out while the Automatons are trying to run back up field with no success. 

2nd Quarter: Kong fails on a 40 yard throwaway fourth down kick and once again the Militants receive the ball. This time the Cheshire Cat avoids the Roughnecks for a touchdown and Hawkeye lands a conversion pass. The Automatons finally manage to make some pass plays which send them further down field. With V still surrounded, Iskandar summons his chariot and rides into the end zone. The team plays it safe and Kong succeeds on the extra point kick. The militans regain the ball with a while left and do a hand off to Hagrid. With no one on their team able to tackle him, Hagrid makes a very slow touchdown that runs out the clock. The team fails to make the conversion. 

3rd Quarter: Blackbeard steals Hagrid's kink and himself returns for an extremely slow touchdown. Down a bit the Automatons go for the conversion but are blocked by the Foot Clan. The Militants regain possession and once again Crash ignores the Roughnecks for an immediate touchdown followed up by Hawkeye landing a conversion pass. Kirby manages to suck in all the Foot Clan while Sailor Moon sneaks in for the touchdown unmolested. This time the team succeeds on the conversion.

4th Quarter: Once again with the ball, this time the militants begin trying to let the clock run out. Eventually Hawkeye manages a touchdown pass and then Jake stretches into the endzone for the conversion. The Automatons regain the ball, and get their last touchdown with seconds left after the Gelatinous Cube absorbs the abilities of the Foot Clan. They succeed on the conversion but it isn't enough to prevent the upset.

Leviathans vs. Pandas

THE INNSMOUTH LEVIATHANS

Coin Toss: Leviathans win, will receive.

Kickoff: Korben kicks to Throttle, who fumbles when Indiana Jones sticks one of the 1st down markers from the sidelines into the front spoke of his bike and is injured. Indy grabs the ball and heads to the endzone. Smaug thinks he catches him right before the endzone only to see the professor utilize his whip to swing around the dragon's mouth and score the touchdown. 

Entire Game Synopsis: Without Throttle, the Leviathans find their running game slow while the Panda defense Warriors keep a strong watch on receivers. It doesn't help that the Leviathans go through a progressive series of benched people as their horror selves keep actively trying to break the rules and injure the Pandas. Conversely, the Pandas have sharpened their game and came together as a team in a very cohesive way, and keep finding themselves in the end zone without overly relying on any one character. Everyone gets a bit of the spotlight. There is a small brawl in the third between the Warriors and Kratos but it is broken up without any permanent damage to either side.
