Aberrations vs Spartans

The Asgardian Aberrations
vs.
The Requiem Spartans
The Singasteinn Superdome

Paragon Percentage: Neither paragon will enter play*
[*the Spartans spend an MVPoint to bring their paragon into play. Raiden will enter play.]
Coin Toss: Spartans win, will receive.
Kickoff: GIR kicks to King Kong, who avoids Venom but is taken down after a long gain by Brienne.
First: The two teams gridlock early on with the strong defense of Lobo and Raiden respectively. The long exchange of carries is finally broken when Legolas lands a touchdown. The try fails and in the final seconds of the quarter Spy sneaks by and lands a touchdown as well.
Second: Starting slow like the first, the Aberrations remove GIR and Donatello from play briefly. The teams lock down until [*the Spartans spend an MVPoint to raise Lara Croft's seduction ability.] Lara Croft seduces Lobo to leave the Aberrations. This forces Cowardly Lion out early who is injured. Ouka Hayasaka takes over the injury for the Cowardly Lion and Simba begins to plot vengeance. During this fray the Spartans do manage to rally for a lead of three touchdowns.
Third: The half returns and the Aberrations bring back a reprogramed fully functional GIR thanks to Donatello, who also returns. The Aberrations begin a full attack but the powerful defense of Raiden becomes a problem. Hawkeye and Green Arrow find themselves extremely less effective with their rival against them. Brienne of Tarth takes a chance on the sideline and injures King Kong who was out of play while the Spartan defense was in. Brienne is not kicked out thanks to Vash feigning and drawing attention away from the incident.  In the final moments the Aberrations call to the bench for a player to renew their defensive line when a not-so-familiar face walks from the entrance hall
...oh god.  Its the illithid-led shambling corpse now known as Blrrtman. However, what is this? [*having prepared for such possibilities, the Spartans have spent another (their last) MVPoint to protect the field.] Some unknown spell is protecting the field. It looks like Blrrtman's return will not happen today.
Fourth: With their defensive backup gone, the Aberrations rework things and bring out the no-longer-Cowardly Lion. With a revived team buffed to the hilt, the Aberrations finally begin to rally. Forcing Raiden onto offense with the Spartans line increasingly injured by Brave Lion, the Aberrations are able to score a run of touchdowns. The Spartans have the ball with seconds left but can't make the 60+ field goal. This brings the game into...
Overtime: The Aberrations gain first carry but Hawkeye's inability to perform against Green Arrow's defensive pals slows their gains. Legolas breaks away to almost end it all but is surprisingly brought down by Bebop and Rocksteady in the back field. This leads Raiden to head back to defense to prevent a touchdown. The Spartans gain possession on their own 3 yard line, forcing Green Arrow back. Lion makes it around for a safety sack.

Result: AA 26 - RS 24

Paragon Percentage: Master Chief will enter play.....to fight the team from his own setting.

Spartans vs. Assassins

The Requiem Spartans vs. The Asshai Assassins
@ Saffron Straits Stadium

Paragon Percentage: Neither paragon will enter play.
Coin Toss: Spartans win, will receive.
Kickoff: Tyrion Lannister has a very weak kick causing the Spartans to work their way upfield to gain possession. Spy gains possession first and is taken down by Sandor Clegane almost immediately.
First Quarter: The game starts with a quick pace as Arrow and Stark show they know how to utilize their carriers. It becomes a game of exchanging touchdowns as the offensive sides steamroll from one end of the field to the other. The game stays effectively tied as each team scores back and forth.
Second Quarter: The majority of the quarter continues in the same manner until Tywin manages to buy Green Arrow's allegience in gold. Arrow heads over to the Assassins while Sub Zero tries valiantly but fails to replace his tactical skills. Right before halftime the Assassins finally pull ahead slightly.
Third Quarter: Though he started strong, Robb Stark's skills seem to falter but with Green Arrow able to fill in the team stays strong. Loras is immune to Lara Croft's charm and continues to drive touchdowns with ease, injuring Lara in the process which sends Max Payne into overdrive and he manages to take out Loras and Sandor before being brought down himself. Max is replaced by Beowolf while Boromir and Daenerys.
Fourth Quarter: Spy slips past the Assassins to score and succeed on the conversion to close the gap but Daenerys brings it back when she brings out the dragons for a play, leaving the Nitro Girls running for cover while Barristan lands another TD.  King Kong finally realizes that he is fucking King Kong and fuck this shit and runs over The Unsullied scoring for the Spartans. He then takes over defense duties for the Spartans and manages to force Arrow into a 4th and Long right on his own endzone, sacking him for a safety and leaving him nearly lifeless. Down three the Spartans go for a field goal and Scorpion nails it, bringing the now-tied game into....
Sudden Death Overtime: The Assassins gain possession first looking to score, but without Robb or Arrow it falls to Boromir to lead. Marv fills his previous role. King Kong, still boosted from having a white girl ally, manages to prevent any forward movement and after a fourth down failure the possesion reverts to the Spartans. The referees notice that the Spartans seem to be easily moving downfield and determine that Assassin Jorah Mormont has been selling plays to the Spartans. As a result he is removed along with Lara Croft who had convinced him to. This leaves King Kong saddened and he falters, allowing a turnover which gives possession back to the Assassins where Jaime lands the game winning touchdown - dashing the hopes for the Spartans to win their first game.

Result: RS 60 - AA 66

Explorers vs. Spartans

The Enterprise Explorers vs. The Requiem Spartans
@ The Ivanhoff Memorial Complex

CONFERENCE QUALIFIERS
Coin Toss: Spartans win, will receive
Kickoff: Sobchak kicks to Predator who immediately drives home the first touchdown of the game.
1st Half: The first quarter is dominated by the Spartans who continously land pass plays to Predator, but eventually Sam tips off Hong Kong Phooey who duels Predator. Many other Predators show up and commend Hong Kong Phooey for his victory, leaving him with a Predator cloaking device. The second quarter finds a much more concerned Spartans playing a very nervous passing game as an invisible Hong Kong Phooey slowly tracks and murders them. If the refs could see what he was doing, he would be flaged. But they can't. The spartans still hold a slight lead by halftime, but their lineup now consists of QB Rocksteady, RBs Palin and LaRusso, WRs Legolas and Michelangelo, F Jessi Slaughter, and TE The Goonies.
2nd Half: Finally using his Elf Eyes, Legolas spots and manages to deactivate Hong Kong Phooey's armor. Hong Kong, unaware he can be seen, brutally attacks one of The Goonies and is immediately removed from play - Only to be replaced by Spawn. The Goonies never die and are fine. With most of their team down and only a few skilled individuals left, the half becomes a slow rally for the Explorers.
RESULT: EE 39 - RS 23

3rd: Connor is out for injuries in the first play, replaced by Dean Winchester. Legolas and LaRusso start strong with touchdowns but no trys. But Dean and Hellboy counter on their carries with kinks, resulting in two touchdowns as well. The rest of the quarter becomes a deadlock around the PZP 30.

Spartans vs. MIA

The Requiem Spartans vs. The Alderaan MIA @ The Graveyard Astrodome

Coin Toss: Spartans win, will receive.
Kickoff: Robocop kicks to Drizzt. Drizzt backpasses to Godzilla. Touchdown Spartans.
1st Quarter Synopsis: High scoring round. Sonic and Godzilla aid their teams greatly with their speed. Towards the end of the quarter, both are injured and replaced by Scooby Doo and Michelangelo respectively.
2nd Quarter Synopsis: Without the might of their runners, both teams attempt to move into a passing game. Both teams score just once, via Predator and Luke Skywalker. All trys fail.
3rd Quarter Synopsis: Finally finding a groove, the two sides seem to be caught in a stalemate with neither reaching a fourth down and the game staying around the RS 35 yard line the entire quarter. However, on the final fourth down of the quarter, the Spartans bring out Green Arrow who succeeds on a field goal from this spot.
4th Quarter Synopsis: The MIA start out strong with a touchdown and two point conversion giving a healthy lead, but a bad fumble and a safety by the Spartans close the gap slightly. This is followed immediately by a field goal due to their success with it last quarter which is also successful. The rally is brought to a halt however when neither team manages to score again before the clock runs out.
