Knights vs. Leviathans

The Gotham Knights vs. The Innsmouth Leviathans

@ Wayne Memorial Stadium

Tonight's game is a somber one, hosting two games at this same stadium as the Asgardian Aberrations will play their opponents here after the Bruce Wayne/Batman Funeral after his death in the events of last week. The entire crowd seems somber here at Wayne Memorial Stadium.

Paragon Percentage: Cthulhu will enter play

Coin Toss: Leviathans win, will receive.

Kick off: Brak kicks off to Throttle, who revs downfield - narrowly avoiding Raze and then easily entering the end zone.

Full Game Synopsis: Maybe it's the somber hometown loss of Batman. Maybe its Cthulhu. Maybe its Maybelline. But the Knights never stood a chance. Highlights include Blade and Raze being the only two Knights left standing after a play in the second quarter, ending the game with a much smaller point score than what would have happened to them had it continued.

Result: GK 3 - IL 24

Sentinels vs. Knights

The Cybertron Sentinels vs. The Gotham Knights

@ The Metroplex Colosseum

Paragon Percentage: No paragons will enter play

Coin Toss: Knights win, will receive

Kickoff: Megaman launches a long shot to Raze, and moments later a huge fight ensues which ends with a fumble, an injured Raze, a removed-from-play Starscream, and a touchdown for the Sentinels by Lando.

Entire Game Synopsis: The points scored in the initial kickoff would prove to be the only points scored the entire game. Angry at Raze's injury, the Knights fought back brutally, causing Beorn to go full on bear and the next thing we know both benches are cleared and when the fight ends we've got Megatron looking on approvingly while Optimus looks on disapprovingly and it looks like only Snake Pliskin escaped.

Result: CS 6 - GK 0

Browncoats vs. Knights

The Big Damn Browncoats vs. The Gotham Knights

@ Serenity Valley Stadium

Paragon Percentage: Neither Paragon will enter the game.

Coin Toss: Browncoats win, will receive

Kickoff: Brak gives a weak kick, picked up by Frozone, who carries until tackled by Raze at the GK10 Yard Line.

1st Quarter:  After many false starts, some teamwork with Bowser holding off the Three Storms finally allows the Browncoats to score. Ichigo follows up with the successful kick try. The Knights take possession and have a much better speed advantage with speed over the Constructicons, managing to land a long run touchdown on their third down. However things change when they go for the kick try and Hook of the Constructicons grabs the ball and manages a long touchdown turnover. Ichigo comes back out to land another try. The Knights run out of town on their final down of the quarter.
2nd Quarter: The quarter starts out scoreless as the teams exchange possession a few times, but an exasperated Gromph finally pulls out the inner Archmage and takes out the Three Storms momentarily, allowing Quartermain to easily score. The Knights look to make a return rally afterwards but the Constructicons morph together into Devestator and steamroll them.
3rd Quarter: The Constructicons are removed from play after their last bit, having injured Sookie and Snake. The Knights Who Say Ni take their place while Ren & Stimpy limp out to replace the injured Knights. The slowness of the Knights Who Say Ni finally allows the Gotham Knights...

...to rally back. Jesus lands successful touchdown passes to Blade and Raze. Both tries are successful. The Browncoats run out of time on their fourth down, but bring Ichigo out to kick and he manages a successful 45 yard field goal.

4th Quarter:  Raze takes out the Knights Who Say Ni and gets away with it, but in their last moments they are able to force him out of the game for a quarter. Dorothy Gale replaces the Knights while Raze is replaced by Zorak. The teams then manage successful touchdowns and tries back and forth twice. Then, in the finals trailing by 4, Blade makes a major error and fumbles the ball. Dorothy recovers and uses her ruby reds to wish herself into the end zone. Ichigo finishes the the job of locking out the Knights.
Final: BDB 45 - GK 34
